Chamber Translation Services Launched

Chambers Ireland today (08/01/08) announced details of a new translation service for businesses throughout Ireland. This is in response to the increased demand for dependable translation services by Irish firms, who continue to employ large numbers of foreign nationals, are doing business and setting up offices overseas more now than ever before.

Chamber Translation Services offers multi-lingual translation services and localisation solutions for every business translation requirement, including, for example, the translation of website content, marketing materials, presentations and contracts. It offers clients access to a global team of localisation experts, who will assist businesses in successfully communicating with target audiences in their native language(s).

Speaking at the launch Mary Mooney, International Business Executive at Chambers Ireland said, “Chamber Translation Services has been designed to offer flexibility and choice, while enabling businesses to communicate with their international target audiences in a cost effective manner. Whether the target audience consists of customers or employees, successfully delivering your message on a global scale is about more than just multilingual translation. You must consider culture, context, and channel – what you say can be reinforced or discredited by how you say it.”

“With an increasingly diverse composition of the Irish workforce this new service comes at an opportune time. Results from Chambers Ireland’s 2007 Labour Force Survey, showed that on average 17% of employees in Ireland are foreign nationals – the ability for employers to be able to provide documents from employment contracts through to health and safety statements is more important now than ever,” Mooney continued.
