This seminar will provide an update on VAT on property transactions and other construction related issues (including RCT) as well as providing details on VAT recovery issues and Revenue’s audit approach. The Company Law Update will focus on:

 1)  The aftermath of the Companies Act, 2014

 2)  The Companies (Accounting) Bill 2016:
      *  Impact on non-filing structures
      *  The new micro company
New thresholds for small and medium companies

Brian Hogan, Senior Manager, PwC 

Brian Hogan is PwC South East’s VAT specialist. He is a Senior Manager advising clients across the South East on a range of VAT issues. Brian is an associate of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.  He has extensive experience advising clients, ranging from small indigenous businesses to public sector and multi-national organisations, on the VAT implications of transactions.

Lisa Cliffe, Manager, PwC 

Lisa Cliffe is a Manager in PwC’s Entity Governance and Compliance Department and has over eleven years’ experience working in the company secretarial and company law sector. Lisa has a wealth of experience in dealing with company secretarial compliance and company law issues for small private and public companies as well as multi-national organisations.
