Chambers Ireland - Drogheda Chamber: Business Excellence Awards

The awards are a great opportunity to showcase your business and with new categories added this year, there is something for everyone.

They are open to Drogheda and the surrounding areas and both members and non-members are eligible to enter. And it’s free!

These Business Excellence Awards which are in their 13th year, will be launched on the 8th of September in The Highlanes Gallery.

The Launch will provide guests with a better understanding of the awards themselves and the benefits involved in entering. Our head judge, Padraig Warren will be on hand for any questions or queries that you may have regarding the entry procedure, what the judges are looking for and the categories you can enter.

This is also a fantastic opportunity to network with the local business community and we invite all businesses to attend this free event. Registration is at 5.00p.m followed by some refreshments and finger food before we have our brief outline on the Awards.

FREE WORKSHOP:

We are delighted to offer a free workshop on “What the Judges are looking for, Guidance and Tips on the Awards Process“. This will take place on Monday 18 September at 10:00 am in the Chamber Office, Dublin Road.

How to Enter

…it’s easy as 1,2,3!

1. Download and complete your application form
  There is only one entry form that is applicable to all categories. Typed submissions should be completed and 4 copies returned to Drogheda Chamber, by 3.00pm Wednesday the 27th of September 2017. You may enter your business or organisation in a maximum of two (2) categories. You will only need to fill out one application form but you must ensure you tick the relevant categories.
  Note: Woman of Vision differs from other categories. There is a separate form, on the website.
  NOTE – This year we have introduced a public voting system which will allot to a % of your overall score. Further details will follow upon receipt of your Application
2. Wait for the shortlist
  Judges will meet to evaluate all applications and on the 18th October, the shortlisted companies will be announced. All companies who enter the awards will be contacted. Companies that have been shortlisted will be called for an interview or will be assessed by the Mystery Shopper depending on which category you have been shortlisted for.

3. Attend the Ball
  The winners of each category will not be announced until the night of the Awards. The Award ceremony will take place on Saturday the 18th of November in the CityNorth Hotel. The glittering, Black Tie social event of the business calendar promises to be a wonderful night and provides a great opportunity to relax and celebrate the success of the last year so make sure you have your calendar marked!
