Excellence in Local Government Awards
« Back

Chambers Ireland Excellence in Loal Government Awards are now in their sixth year and are run in association with the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government.

The Awards celebrate excellence in what is a vital area of interest to the chamber movement both locally and nationally. As representatives of the major private contributor to and users of local authority services, Chambers have a deep interest in recognising, promoting and extending standards of excellence in local government.

The Awards also strengthen ties between Local Authorities and regional Chambers as they have to work together closely during the nomination process. The Awards are judged by a panel of expert judges working in the field of Local Government.
