Alan joined Peninsula Ireland, the Employment Law Consultancy Firm in 2003 based at the Manchester Office. His roles within Peninsula have included Corporate Advice Line Manager UK and Ireland, Business Manager, Head of Irish Operations and Business Development and is currently the Director of the Irish Company.

Prior to joining Peninsula he worked for a number of years in the finance and insurance industry in the UK, seconded to a trade union. He has sat as a lay member on the UK Employment Tribunals for some years and continues to do so.

Holding a Directorship of a UK business in the SME sector, gives him additional insight and experience in both employee and employer relations which has allowed him to develop an extensive in-depth knowledge of all personnel, HR and employment law matters from all perspectives. Alan is currently a judicial member of the UK Employment Lawyers Association.
