Supporting SMEs and Entrepreneurship
Ireland needs to be more encouraging of entrepreneurship and the growth of indigenous enterprises. More needs to be done to support our SMEs and job creating entrepreneurs. One way to achieve this is through a more supportive tax system for entrepreneurs. The tax system should ensure that innovators, investors and entrepreneurs are recognised as contributors to growth and are taxed fairly. Improvements to our tax regime have the potential to attract greater inward investment while also encouraging indigenous entrepreneurship.
Chambers Ireland's submission to the Department of Justice and Equality consultation on the National Women's Strategy 2017-2020 adressed issues and made recommendations relating to Women in Business and Promoting Entrepreneurship. You can read the full submission here
