European Engagement

Chambers Ireland, as a member of Eurochambres, will continue to engage across the areas of Trade; SMEs and Entrepreneurship; Finance & Economy; Better Regulation; and Single Market. Looking ahead, the dialogue on the Future of Europe, begun in 2017, will continue and Chambers Ireland will be advocating for an EU that supports business. The EU must be a good place to do business in and to do business with. Ensuring that we continue to support ambitious open trade policy and that we continue to be a competitive place to do business is crucial. Our priorities are to ensure that EU law is SME-friendly and administratively efficient and to seek completion of the Single Market, especially in ways that support our growing digital economy.
