Margaret is a career banker with extensive experience in banking, both in Ireland and internationally. She has recently been appointed as Debt Advisory Partner at BDO. Prior to this role Margaret was Head of Business Banking at Permanent TSB and had responsibility for National SME Sectoral Strategy and Specialism at AIB.
From 2012 to early 2014, Margaret was Head of Business Banking Cork City and County. Prior to that she played a key role in addressing and supporting the restructuring of the bank’s lending book while based in Cork with responsibility for Munster.
From 2002 to 2011 Margaret held multiple senior roles in the banks North American Business, spending most of that time living and working in the US. Margaret started her career in a branch, having spent 6 years in Dublin City Centre. Margaret has an MBA from DCU.
