Chambers Ireland welcomes Government Decision to draft National Shared Services Office Bill

Chambers Ireland has today (07/09/2015) welcomed the Government’s decision to approve the drafting of the National Shared Services Office Bill.

Speaking today, Ian Talbot, Chief Executive of Chambers Ireland said: “Today’s announcement is a welcome indication of Government’s commitment to deliver on the Public Sector Reform Plan and to continue to introduce efficiencies in the delivery of our public services.”

“The establishment of a permanent National Shared Services Office will support the more effective delivery of public services by facilitating the application of advanced technologies and allowing for targeted outsourcing opportunities. This has the potential to not only deliver significant cost savings to the State, but will also lead to improved service delivery to the public.”, he concluded.
