National Post Code System Will Benefit Business

Chambers Ireland has today (08/10/13) welcomed the announcement of the new national post code system.

Speaking this afternoon, Seán Murphy, Chambers Ireland Deputy Chief Executive, said “We are delighted that Ireland will at long last have a future proofed post code system, which the Chamber Network has called for over a number of years. This will greatly benefit business, particularly as it is a vital prerequisite for e-fulfillment which will enable more Irish businesses to embrace the web.”

“The importance of the post code system has even greater benefits for the general public. The unique identifier code will have a significant impact on the emergency services when trying to locate their target address. Smooth execution will be vital and we encourage all businesses and householders to embrace the new post code system upon roll out,” he concluded.
